Imposter Syndrome Is My Product Management Superpower
Imposter Syndrome is a burden that impacts many of us. According to perhaps my favorite statistic of all time (and an excellent example), between 9% – 82% of people will experience it during their career. According to another source, Product Managers are particularly prone to this. Despite consistently positive feedback about my performance and contributions, I’ve struggled with Imposter Syndrome throughout my Product Management career.
There’s good news, though. Imposter Syndrome doesn’t have to hold us back. If you can’t shrug it off, throw your shoulders back, and accept yourself as a Product Management rock star, then shift the impact from burden to advantage.
