How to Inspire Your Team and Give Them Purpose: The Story of The Success of the Rubber Ducks!
When I joined homegate.ch, we did little to understand our users and our data. We had a huge amount of legacy and we had to find a way of balancing re-engineering our core services and providing great products to our users.
I would love to share the story of how a team of Rubber Ducks achieved business success. This didn’t come immediately and we very much went through the phases of forming, storming, norming and performing.
I will talk about how we used data insights to help to plan our scope and developed an experiment culture to measure success of our features. How we involved the team during workshops to define how to solve our consumers problems. How we set up a mix of interactive ceremonies to ensure all ducks were on the same page and clear on our plan. How we openly communicated in retros to find ways to continuously improve. How we reviewed the impact that our efforts had made on our business and our consumers lives and how we celebrated!
