Product Management in a Pandemic Crisis
What we are experiencing today in COVID-19 times is unprecedented not only for individuals but also for regional and multi-national businesses and the global economy. AirAsia in its 19 year history has never seen all of its fleet grounded. As a Flights PM at AirAsia, this meant shelving the 30-60-90 day roadmaps and the yearly vision plans we’d been working on and going back to the drawing board to come up with a product roadmap that helps boost our business so that we can continue to deliver on our vision in the long run. I’ll talk about my learnings from navigating this pandemic crisis. Participants will learn what really matters in these times of crisis from a business standpoint and from a PM standpoint, the shift in top level metrics such testing times trigger, the key skills product managers need in war and crisis, and, how to transform the roadmap to adapt to the changing and evolved needs.
