In the last couple of months, I had the honour of being the product as well as project manager for a new product feature. Not only did we have a seemingly fixed scope, fixed time from the very beginning, but we also faced the challenge of dealing with a huge set of internal and external dependencies.
In this session, I will share some learnings in dealing with such conditions, including areas we did well and (and not so well). I’ll share some insights on how I would have handled things differently now to avoid potential pitfalls. In the end it’s about finding the right balance between agile product development and classic project management.
