The Three “I”s of B2B Road Mapping
As product managers, we create the atmosphere in which product teams build great software, products, and businesses. However, with 200 items on your roadmap and limited resources, how do you know what to prioritize? Especially in B2B where the roadmap is so multi-dimensional: from time constraints, revenue, effort, and growth, to enterprise customer demands, integrations, developer experience and machine learning and data analysis. Which issues will move the needle?
In this talk, I want to share with you my method of the three I’s, that has radically simplified how we think about road mapping and prioritizing. Moreover, it has helped us to scale ‘Ruum by SAP’ from 0 to 15.000 B2B users from 800+ companies – within 1.5 years.
