PMF is an annual conference by Peak Product that brings over 1’000 talents and leaders in the product field together to connect, grow and impact their products and organizations. The audience includes Heads and VPs of Product, CPOs, Product Owners, UX designers, customer experience folks. Most of the attendees are experienced product leaders, please keep this in mind when preparing your talk. Your talk will not be long enough to explain complex concepts.

The presentation slot is 30 minutes, which is broken down into a 21 – 26 minute presentation with a 4 – 9 minutes Q & A session at the end. If you have an interactive session the length is 60 minutes.

You have to submit your slides by the end of October (see schedule above). You will also be assigned a moderator to your session, someone from the Conference Board. They will contact you in advance to walk through your presentation, discuss ice-breaker questions.

We want to make sure you enjoy your time on the PMF Stage and that your talk is enjoyed and understood in full by your audience. We also want to avoid technical glitches on the day itself.

For this, we will review the format of all slides before the final deadline.  In addition, the AV team is running tests on all presentations the week before the conference.

Ideally the presentation is 16:9 and a PDF or MS Powerpoint format. It is possible to send us an Apple Keynote (with all font type files included!).  It is  also possible to use Google Slides, however, please note, for the talk it will be downloaded and converted to PDF (to avoid technical/internet glitches during your talk).

The 30-min talks will all be in a cinema room (at ARENA Cinema).

The 60-min interactive sessions will be a separate workshop room. All interactive session facilitators will be contacted by the end of October with the room layout.

Special animations and embedded videos can be used as long as they are available offline. The AV team will make sure they all run smoothly. Please note a live demo is not possible.

We cannot rely on the WIFI on site, it is too big a risk.  Therefore all slides MUST run offline. We have a fully packed schedule, very little time for testing slides before the talk.

Unfortunately, no, it is not possible for the cinema room talks. For interactive sessions it may be possible, but let us know beforehand. Regardless, please respect the various deadlines for sending in slides.

Please note that directly after the conference we make PDF copies of each presentation available to attendees through the Product Management Festival website, on a password protected page. It is possible to have two versions of your presentation, 1) for internal use of presentation only 2) edited version for distribution. By default we share the file you send us in a PDF format.

If you are a confirmed speaker you should have already received an email from Accelevents and Product Management Festival with your ticket for the conference. Please if you haven’t received it yet let us know at events@peakproduct.io

As a Speaker you will benefit from free entrance and free meals during the conference. Transport and accommodation costs fall into your/your company’s responsibility.

You can see which room you are allocated on the official conference schedule.

If you want to see how the rooms look you can see them on the Arena Cinemas website.

The screens are cinema screens, and you can see photos from our previous events. Onsite, you will receive a clicker and a headset mic, and a technician will do a thorough check of your slides and sound.

You will be asked to be at the cinema room in the morning on November 15th for a quick sound check.  Also, you need to be available 10 minutes before your session to make sure everything works.

Note: We do not have the logistics to test your full presentation in advance.

Some of the sessions will be recorded, you will be informed closer to the event which of the sessions will be recorded. If your session will be recorded, you will have access to it after the event.

You can view select videos recorded from previous years of the PMF on Vimeo.

The monitor on the stage will show a mirror image of the slides being shown on the big screen. Please print out and bring on stage any speaker notes that you need.

A PMF Board Member will introduce each speaker and provide visual cues to help the speaker track remaining time. Please discuss with the Board Member anything special you need to help your talk run smoothly.
