Ram Papatla is Booking.com’s Vice President of Global Experiences, responsible for delivering on the company’s mission to make it easier for everyone to experience the world by building out and enhancing new product verticals and pilot testing grounds. In addition to expanding the scope and breadth of Booking.com’s existing experiences, food and flights offering to include an even wider array of options for consumers, Ram’s team is developing responsive digital journeys that combine aspects of inspiration, planning, navigation and the in-destination experience as Booking.com works towards a truly seamless and connected trip.
Prior to joining Booking.com, Ram served as Vice President of Product Management at Flipkart, one of India’s largest ecommerce companies where he was responsible for the consumer product team which served over 100 million customers. Previously Director of Product Management & Marketing for Amazon, he also held various senior leadership roles at Microsoft during his 15-year tenure with the company.
Ram has a degree in Computer Engineering from Andrews University and also studied at the Manipal Institute of Technology.
