Simonetta is a product leadership coach with more than a decade of experience leading product and business teams in technical contexts. She began her career in Finance and Accounting, where she developed a strong foundation in financial concepts, analysis, and business strategy. This early expertise became a key enabler as she transitioned into product roles, where her ability to align financial insights with product strategy has consistently driven impactful results.
Simonetta most recently led the expansion of the popular browser extension (eyeo / AdBlock Plus) by scaling distribution through global browser partnerships. She set up and successfully scaled a remote business unit consisting of diverse multinational teams, maintaining a relentless focus on creating thriving teams—even when their members never met in person due to their globally distributed setup. The products her teams built are in use by hundreds of millions of users. Prior to her time at eyeo, she led the teams who built and scaled a tool for CFOs to run payroll, deal with financials and compliance questions for global teams at VISTRA (formerly Radius) , and led teams who built the leading marketplace for domain names (sedo.com), where her business acumen and financial expertise were instrumental in achieving growth and sustainability.
Simonetta founded Inclusive Leaders because she believes that building an inclusive team culture is a strategic enabler of high-performing teams and the rocket fuel of innovation.
She supports teams in finding their path to success while enjoying their time together. Strong teams are made of people who each positively empower a group toward reaching a shared goal, regardless of formal roles, identities, titles, or years of experience.
After leaving her roles in Tech, Simonetta trained with CTI to become a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. Her clients typically hold leadership roles in Tech organizations, and she enjoys working with mission-driven teams tackling societal issues. Simonetta’s coaching is enriched by her comprehensive professional journey, bridging financial expertise, product leadership, and team empowerment.
Simonetta lives in Cologne and spends part of the year in her second home country, the United States. She loves traveling, cooking, art, and Argentine Tango, and sees every experience that provides new insights or learning as a gift.
