The Room Becomes a Fund - Would You Have Backed It?

27 November 2026 · 10:15

Every day, AI systems quietly read pitch decks and pass judgment on products like yours. In this session, you sit on the other side of the table.

This is an interactive talk, and it starts before the festival: attendees receive a few questions in advance, and their answers collectively found a fund - the room’s own investment thesis, written down. On stage, we reveal it, then show how our platform scored three pitch decks against it - including one whose outcome nobody knows yet.

Along the way, the real story behind the machine: how agentic tools built inside a venture fund became a product shipped to regulated financial clients by a two-person, AI-native company.

You’ll leave with three things: why building an AI-native business is 10% AI and 90% operation; why internal tools become someone else’s product by subtraction, not addition; and why judgment is now configuration - writing your taste down precisely is the product work.
