We collect personal data when you register for a ticket, submit a talk proposal, or contact us. This includes: name, email address, company/role (optional), and payment information (processed by Eventfrog, our ticketing provider - we do not store card details).

We process your data on the following legal bases under GDPR Art. 6:

• Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing necessary to fulfil your ticket purchase.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): event communications and community updates.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): marketing emails (you may withdraw consent at any time).

We retain attendee data for up to 3 years after the event for accounting and legal compliance purposes. Marketing preferences are retained until you withdraw consent. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Tally (tally.so, Belgium) - embedded forms for speaker submissions and partner inquiries. Receives the data you enter in the form (name, email, message, uploaded files). Tally is EU-based and GDPR-compliant.
• Eventfrog (Eventfrog AG, Switzerland) - embedded ticket widget on the homepage; processes ticket purchases including name, email, and payment data. Loading the widget transmits your IP address to Eventfrog and sets cookies in your browser on the embed.eventfrog.ch domain. Eventfrog acts as the data controller for ticket purchases on its platform.
• Vercel (Vercel Inc., US) - hosts this website. Processes your IP address.
• Vercel Analytics - cookieless, privacy-friendly website analytics. Collects page view data only. No personally identifiable information is stored.
• Google Maps (Google LLC, US) - embedded map on the venue page. Loading the map transmits your IP address to Google and sets Google’s standard cookies in your browser.

Cookies

This site does not set first-party tracking or analytics cookies. Third-party cookies are set in your browser when the following embeds load:

• Eventfrog ticket widget on the homepage (embed.eventfrog.ch).
• Google Maps embed on the venue page (Google’s standard cookies).

If you do not want these cookies, you can avoid the homepage ticket section and the venue page, or block third-party cookies in your browser; the rest of the site functions without them.

This site uses localStorage in your browser to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). This is not a cookie, is not sent to any server, and contains no personal data.

Under GDPR and Swiss DSG, you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion: request that we delete your personal data.
• Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
